CPU Upgrade for Tomcat K8E

Allright so apparently, overclocking my opteron 165 is not an option on the Tomcat K8E (not surprised, but a bit disappointed). Pushing the HT frequency to 250mhz just destabilizes the system at some level. In lieu of my OCing failure, can someone recommend me the fastest, cheapest socket 939 cpu available to purchase (new and from a well-known online store). Right now i'm Eyeing the Opteron 180 but is there anything in the $120-$130 range?

yeah I had the frequency at 250 and reduced the Multiplier to 4. Just to try and eliminate memory as the issue, I reduced the memory frequency to 166. I even tried bumping up the CPU vcore by 0.05V. It boots into windows without issue but after 15 or 20 minutes, it flashed a blue screen and immediately rebooted. The core temp was reported at something like 29 or 30C. I have no idea what could be wrong with it.
