For all of you running an A7N8X-E Deluxe do you get a little higher temps than everyone else. I am running a 2500+ and 3000+ speeds w/ a 1.8vcore and im idling at 55C.

Plz post i want to know whether i just have a basd bit o' silicon, my termperature probe is not working or maybe its even in the CPU core.

What heatsink & fan are you running? Those temps are pretty much what you should expect with 1.8V. You'd need to get some pretty good cooling to get below 50C under load

L1A might be too little for 1.8v vcore ... I would say a Med or if it was my PC a High or ultra with 3rd pin for rpm control.

I am using a DFI Infiinity Ultra NFII and a 2500xp M ... at stock vcore with a TT Vol 11 (not as good as the TR you have) temps around 40c

Actually im running the 12L so it does have the 3rd pin, but it is useless. What fan should i have gotten. I want it to be pretty quiet though.

ya well quiet is little tricky with OCing lol.

I would try a High and pick up a ThermalTake duct mod too ... it will help reduce temps and dB.

I used a high for a long time then I went to a TT Smartfan2 (auto rpm adjustment to CPU temp) and it is working well.

How much is involved in this duct mod? Also how much $$ is it. I need new memory and a new PSU. So i cant shell out too much money.
