First Of All,I Have A Classic Athlon 900@1150(115 FSB x 10)And Epox 7KXA M.B....How Reliable Is The Temp Sensor On The Motherboard?I Am Using Motherboard Monitor 5.5 To Monitor Temps.Right Now it Says 26c(78F)(Idle) CPU And 22c(71F)(Idle) System With The Case Off.(Room Temp About 70F)

Thanks,
Bryan

Motherboard moniter is ussually right, but can be wrong, check them by going to bios and seeing what that says. And those temps are great.

You don't say what type of CPU or if you are overclocking it. But the temp you're posting is really good, especially if you're overclocking. BTW, is the motherboard monitor you are using freeware or did it come with your CPU? I have an Iwill KK266 -R and I'd like to get something like the MSI fuzzy logic stuff (I have that board in my other system). The VIA hardware monitor doesn't show enough info.

Man, I agree - but it's all I got right now. Is there an outboard app that'll do better? I haven't heard of Motherboard Monitor 5. Is it any good? And is it board specific?
