could somebody pls tell me how to check my cpu temp, my system locks up a lot, blue screens, gpfs, invalid page faults etc and i think maybe it is overheating, is there a utility to check fan operation ? win 98, cyrixII 6x86.

Well, i have a Tbird 700, my computer has the cpu temp check right in bios, you go into it and go to cpu performance or somethign like that, i dont remember now, but it should be in your bios...good luck 🙂

Check out winsystem 98. It should be available at softseek.com
winsystem98
It is pretty cool. It shows ram usage, processor and mobo current temps, modem activity, hd activity, cpu usage, etc. Check it out. It also doesn't use that much in resources.

While Motherboard Monitor is the best when it comes to temperature and fan readings, I agree with Lumbee. WinSys is a small programs that gives you a LOT and yet does not use much system resources.
