Which temperature reporting should I trust for my CPU? My BIOS tells me my CPU temperature is 38.5°C/101.3°F. The ASUS PC PROBE V2.23.01 and Motherboard Monitor 5.3.7.0 tell me my CPU temp is 30°C/86°F. These are idle temperatures. Which one is accurate? My system specs are as follows:
Pentium 4 3.0Ghz 512KB L2 Cache 800Mhz FSB (Northwood Core)
Boxed Intel Pentium 4 Heatsink and Fan using Arctic Silver 5 NOT the stock Thermal Pad
