Sisoft Sandra says my cpu temp is 63 celcius. However my bios and pcalert III says the temp is 38. I have a Pro2a. Which temp is correct?

In all honesty, neither. But sandra is wrong, as far reading the temps teh mb is reading.

PCAlert 3 gives you the socket-thermistor temp. THe MB temp can only be relied on as a pseudo guage for your case temp, or as it is intended, a guage for northbridge chip temp.

You can try something like a digital doc, or an extra thermistor cable(from plycon.com)

What temps are expecting to get? Especially considering that the MSI boards under-read temps by about 10-15C.

i don't know too. but i hope to get as low as possible. When i'm in window my temp about 38 celcius. And u know before this, my t-bird almost
blow up.
(I just bought it and i turn it up about 10 -15 minutes, then i get internal problem with my power supply. So i took my comp to seller, and he check my processor was almost blow up. and he change it with the new one. "I'm using a standard fan."):(
so i bought a new fan for my processor. and , that is....

I'm kinda scare with high temp

As soon as you use your computer, your temps will go up even with a software-cooler.

Either ways, your temps are okay for your MB.
