Is it normal for the cpu temp to vary according to the ambient temperature. Today it is quite hot, 30C, and I noticed the cpu temp has crept up from its usual spot of 31C. Anyone else notice this?

It's 100% to be expected. If it's hot outside and i don't have my AC on, my idle temps rise.

If ambient temperature didn't affect your cpu, then i'd say something was wrong....lol. :)

There is pretty much a 1 to 1 correlation--a 5 degree increase in ambient will cause about a 5 degree rise in internal temperatures, all else being equal. My room is usually at 27 Celsius/81 Fahrenheit, so I'm not going to get those 30 degree and lower idle temps that others report.
