Hello,
I have a Gigabyte 7DX mobo with an Amd XP 1700+ cpu, the cpu temp is always between 40' C - 60'C. It gets to the low 60's when I am doing heavy work, when is just Idle, it is usually between 50-55' C. I don't have any special cooling besides the Amd Fan on the cpu and a slot blower fan between the cpu and my Ati 8500 video card. When I touch the case outside when I"ve done some gaming it feels warm, but I've never had any computer freezes or crashes. I want to know if this cpu temp is safe and if there are ways to lower it.
Any help appreciated.
