cpu temp program?

pontifex

Lifer
what program can i use to see my cpu temp?

bah, nvm, i found one.

i do have another question though.

what is a good temp for a stock athlon 64 3700+ to run at?
what temp should i be trying to stay under?

Read the help file for speed fan. I think what is says is that the program doesn't know which temps go with which sensor, but yes, core should refer to cpu. You could run something like prime95 while watching your temps and expect to see one of the temps rise more than the others. This would be the cpu/core temp.

You should keep it under ~50.
