edit -- oops-- sorry-- saw another post that might answer this....
i heard there's a way to see the CPU temp without having to always go into bios-- there's some kind of download to do--
anyone know? thanks
reason i ask is, i installed a new fan on the CPU and it's variable and the power hooks up to a molex connector-- so now whenever i start the computer i get an error message saying the CPU fan is not running-- even tho it is.
the cpu fan is volcano 7-- it has two connections actually-- one to the CPU fan connector on motherboard, and the other to the molex connector-- i think that's what's causing the error message. before i replaced the cpu fan, there was no error message, since there was just one connection, i think.
anyway, would be nice to assure myself the CPU temp is ok without having to go to bios. anyone know a way to do this?
