Some data from my setup...
3.2 Northwood @ 3.68GHz OCZ PC4200 EL
Antec 1080AMG Case with grills cut out front (2) and back (2) everything else with the case is stock
HS+HS fan: SP-94 + antec 80mm ~34cfm
Memory fan: panaflow 80mm ~24cfm
Outlet fans: 2xantec 80mm ~34 cfm out the back, power supply fan out the back
Inlet fans: side antec 80mm ~34cfm
Baseline = 62.5 C
Baseline w/ side fan off = 62.5 C
Baseline w/ side fan off and inlet covered = 62.5C
Side door removed = 61.0 C
Baseline w/ side fan off + vantec tornado 119 cfm added in the following positions:
Bottom front, blowing in = 61.5 C
Top front (cardboard shroud), blowing in = 61.5 C
Side, blowing in = 62.5C
Side, blowing out = 65.5+ C (turned it off after less than 2 minutes, temp still rising)
I learned from this not to blow out the side fan and inlet fans are unnecessary in my setup.
