CPU staying at 100%

I ran spybot, adaware, and registry mechanic. The CPU still stays at 100%. And sometimes the system reboots on its own. Any ideas?

try checking ur system tray for any icons that may show a program running in the background. i sometimes see my cpu going 100% and my hard drive spinning actively when i have nothing opened only to find the small windows update icon in the corner telling me its updating my system.

I checked all of that.

System Idle process.

System Idle Process is not a process. It shows how much CPU Resources are 'idle' and available for use.

correct. look in "performance" to see how much the CPU is being used. once you are done installing stuff, instal Folding@Home to utilize those extra CPU cycles.

Yeah that means nothing is running!!! look at the performance tab in task manager it should show you nothing is running...usually sitting in task manager it may blepp up to 2% every few seconds and that is it...
