Quick question about CPU Spread Spectrum setting. From general reading I know its supposed to lower EMI interference - however what I'm not clear on is whether:

1) its supposed lower EMI interference my CPU has on the environment
OR
2) vice-versa, reduce the EMI interference external factors have on my CPU.

Reason I ask is that I live in a building that has 4 massive cell towers installed on the roof, about 4 floors up from me. I am also overclocking (using hardware in the signature x5670 & P6T Del. V2) and I know that the general knowledge is to disable CPU Spread Spectrum when overclocking - however if #2 is true, then I might want to keep it enabled.

With that said, need some help clarifying this setting's function, so I can figure out whether to keep it Enabled or Disabled.
