CPU speed problem, please help thanks

I just installed 2500+ on barton on asus A7N8X-X motherboard, however, the motherboard only detecting processor as 1.09 ghz, anyone know how i get to run at normal 2500+ speed, thanks very much

edit* i think its something to do with cpu frequency setting in bios but i am not sure

set your fsb from 100mhz to 166mhz.
