CPU speed for a laptop

What would you guys recommend for a Centrino Duo? I am currently looking at a thinkpad R60 and was wondering if 1.66ghz would be suffice for general use (ie. photoshop, ms office, running ubuntu with compiz...etc..no gaming).

If you use photoshop from time to time like me, I'd say 1.66 is enough, but I think the price difference between 1.66 and 1.83 is very small so I would go for the higher CPU (that's what I did )

The 1.66 with be plenty. Thats what mine has, and it's handling everything I throw at it nicely.
