CPU scores low how did I install it wrong?

My CPU is a Phenom II x4 965 running at 3415mhz (stock) according to CPU-Z thing is when I WEI (Windows Index) it my score is 4.8! apparently it should be 7.3-7.5! all my other scores are higher so there is no bottleneck just my proc is obviously underperforming! I'm on limited internet (hotspot) so this is really annoying... but I've updated all drivers on my Asus M3NHT mobo I can't think of anything else to do any suggestions? Could I have broken it in the move? That is my worse fear but I doubt that is the case. I don't recall but I'm pretty sure it was 7+ before my move (subsequently I also just raided my HDDs while adding a new one ofc) I just figure if it was broke it'd be broke not limpin along correct?

I didn't touch the proc just installed a HDD maybe tossed in a videocard since my last WEI.

nevermind I figured it out, I had only 1 core going. I looked in the BIOS and for some reason my northbridge was at a fixed 1.64v (I always do auto... I know too lazy to geek out on all the settings so I settle for the inferior 'auto' lol) so I moved it to auto plus moved some processor energy savings (cool and quiet) options most cases they were off so I turned them ON, but the one that said to use 1 core I said to use 4 and I think that fixed it 😀 I'll move it back to 1 core and keep an eye on performance but.

The other stuff I think the BIOS defaulted it to off and I just needed to turn it on anyway 😛 I get lazy sometimes and just use the BIOS defaults. Lesson to us all, QUIT BEING LAZY!! 😀
