cpu says unknown!

I think its the bios but i dunno where the updated bios is help me. Heres a screenyIts a 1700+ on the mobo thats in my sig.

Yai found it they dont have them on the usa site but the .tw site link is this http://www.leadtek.com.tw/support/download.asp?pronameid=226. I found the link on the usa site which directred me to tthe site @ .tw

yep. i got it to 2000+ speeds but its unknown cpu so does that mean it will operate slower than?

No, it should not run slower. . . Does the BIOS pick it up okay?

no bios says @ bootup Unkknown cpu 1665mhz

should be just fine. you're not overclocked right now, though. windows reports it as running at stock speed

Yes i am overclocked to 2000+speeds

Try upping the speed to 1.7ghz, there the bios should report 2000+, in my experience, running @ 1.66ghz, the cpu was not identified as a 2000+, but as an XP 1667Mhz..

No my bios is too old for it to say amd xp .... I need to show how flash it im outa cd roms and my floppy drive works but its FUBAR thats wut i get fro ma refreb board.

oh no im on xp now i was on 2k3. That scrrenshot is recent. I use winblinds 4 for the blue ice theme and y dock for the dock @ top.

That may be your problem..
