I'd like to go with either the 1 ghz to 1.2 ghz
should I go 266 or not
checked pw and its only like a $30 difference
don't have much money should I just go with the 1ghz?
I'm really not sure
have decided on the asus a7v kt133a w/o audio though
buying an Inwin case 300w ps this weekend @ $79.99
should I go 20 dollars more for a full tower? Not sure if I'll need the room
thanks

Go for 1.2GHz, it's cheap enough as it is I think most people will tell you. Plus then you can have fun overclocking it to perhaps 1.4GHz if you're lucky. Hmm, I'm not an AMD man but have been hearing the Abit KT7 RAID board is the best with the Asus you mention a close second.

As for the case. Well, do you like to play with it a lot? A small case will mean you have to be patient when connecting the cables as you will find it a right squeeze for your fingers in places. If you do get a big tower case then make sure the PSU cables extend long enough to reach the bays etc.

I would go for a roomy tower. Maybe you can stick with the case you have now? Is it ATX?

I see

That site has slow servers or something, it won't show the image of the case. However I believe I know what the case looks like. They have got some good reviews if I am not mistaken. If you like the look of it then go for it. A large case is good but if you get too large then it gets ugly and you can't put it anywhere.

As for the 266MHz FSB. That is upto you. You can unlock the multiplier anyway so even if you buy the 200MHz version you can clock it at 266MHz.
