Cpu push pin heatsink + fan help

Hey guys I'm new to this stuff. so I brought a push pin heatsink and fan but the old heatsink used screw holes so do I need to take the mobo out and remove them btw this for the cpu

Depending on circumstances you might be able to use the old existing back plate with the new heatsink. Having it screw down is definitely the preferred way to go. What kind of hardware are we talking about.

thanks for your help but I've done it(I'm pretty good when it comes to technology) all I had to do was remove the backplate from the motherboard that's it pretty simple In the end.. Then I just clipped the new heatsink in. :D
