But I like the value offered right now with AMD. I waited to hear what Intel was going to say on the 21st and they didn't say much so I just went for it.

Retail Edge! Haha, I remember that retail brainwashing training from my CompUSA days. Some of those employee bribes discounts were amazing. I remember getting some amazing deals from AMD, Diamond, Creative Labs, Intel, Viewsonic, Sprint... quite a few others. At one point, I had two free pagers and two cell phones. I think my parents thought I was a drug dealer. Nope, just a tech enthusiast nerd.
