Thank you guys

buy the 700e and clock it to 933.

You darn well know as intel chip scale up in speed they scale up in price greatly.

ie the 733EB (133 fsb) can be bought new for $155 (techbargains).

the more popular 700E is more likely to hit 933 though.

E mean the cpu run at 100 fsb , Eb mean the cpu run at 133 fsb, all overlocker usually take the E one, if u have a plan to overlock your system my suggestion is take the E one

take the 700e if it is a cBo stepping. You can look at overclockers.com
database and see which are the most successful weeks and scodes.
you could get a cA2 for example and not be able to get past 124Mhz FSB at any safe voltage.
People have done it but they also used pelts or watercoolers. why waste the extra money?
best of luck

whose offering you those cpu at that price? someone you know or a store you found? There's a online store that selling the 800E for $266, if that's a friend selling you a used cpu for that price, start calling him enemy, also you might want to know that the 800mhz thunderbird is only $203 retail package & the 900mhz is only $299, which is $13 more than what you would pay for the 750E, I would buy a thunderbird over a intel PIII now if I didn't own a PIII 700E right now because the DDR motherboards would benefit more with the thunderbird due to it's 200fsb on the cpu, I would even sell my 700E right now if I was able to buy a DDR motherboard & combine it with a thunderbird, I've been using Intel cpu on all the computers I've own except 2 & I think it's time for a change.
