CPU Overheat light

I have a mobo here that I am trying to work on and the "CPU overheat" light keeps coming on on the mobo. (Bright little red light) Does anyone know a way to bypass this check or what it is? How do I get past this?

What mobo? Are you sure it is a cpu overheat light?

check in your bios if you can set the threshold?
