My PC has recently started displaying the following issues:
1: Upon boot, the BIOS splash screen has funny lines all over it.
2: GRUB appears to work normally (and is devoid of funny lines), but booting into Windows gives a totally garbled mess and I can't boot into Ubuntu at all.
This combination of issues suggests that the CPU is most likely at fault, but as it's running at stock voltage and is UNDERclocked (E2180 running at a paltry 1.6ghz, though I can't remember why), I'd be somewhat surprised if this was the case. Any thoughts?
