Have a couple of questions, I had a pent 2 400 , TNT2 Ultra on a SOYO 6Y-6BA-14 it passed Prime95 16 hour test, 3d Mark99 and 3d Mark 2000 for hours and numerious memory test. So I put a MSI slockect ver2.3 in with a OEM Pent 1.1 ghz (100mhz FSB) (not overclocked!)boots up fine. Bios even has 11 multiplier come up with correct voltage, I had it set at 1.75 on MSI slocket just in case. Okay I run Prime95 16 hour test it says it passed. Now I had to move one of the RAM memory from #1 position to #4 position because I felt it was to close to fan, so now I have #2,#3,#4 filled and #1 empty, Soyo says not to do this? So I ran 3 or 4 memory checkers I have, in dos mode no errors. But now it wont run 3d Mark 99, so I tried 3D Mark 2000 sometimes it will freeze while running other times it will run for hours without freezing. So my question is could my CPU be to fast for my older TNT2 Ultra?(Can this ever be a problem?)or could it be 3d Mark 2000 is the problem and hardware is fine. I would think since CPU 1.1 ghz passed Prime95 which I heard was a good test that the CPU is running fine. Any help on this much appreciated! Thank you, I see they have 3d mark 2001 I will try to give that a whirl.
