Targets: 1080p gaming AAA title with smooth 1% lows

Hypothetically speaking if I have a 8600K paired with 5600xt, what would be a better upgrade
a. Moving from 8600K to R5 7500 for a cost of ~400$ with same GPU
b. Moving from 8600K to R5 5600 for a cost of ~300$ with same GPU
c. Moving from 5600xt to 6700xt for a cost of ~300$ with same CPU system

As always, depends on the games you play. If you plan on playing current and future games like Space Marine 2, Spiderman games, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA 6, etc, then a platform upgrade to AM5 is the smartest spend. Because in modern CPU demanding titles a 6c/6t CPU is going to be on the struggle bus. Nothing the 6700XT can do to help when it's waiting on the CPU to give it more work. 1% will suffer, and I agree smooth frame pacing is more important than average or max fps. 7500f with DDR5 CL30 6000MT/s will keep gaming smooth. You can upgrade the 5600XT when you have more money saved up. Until then, you'll be able to fully leverage it.
