Just built a new system
e6600
OCZ 2gb OCZ2P8002GK
EVGA 680i

I over clocked my CPU to 3488 no problems. But I can't get my ram over 916. The times are 5-5-5-15 2t 2.1 volts

Here screen shots of stuff

Anyone have any ideas of how to push it faster I would like to get 1000. I have tried going up to 2.3 volts with out any luck. How far is it safe to over volt?

Thanks for the help

IIRC, that RAM has Elpida IC's. 450 Mhz/900 DDR is pretty decent for it. I don't remember anyone getting it to run any/much faster.

From http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/

That's PC6400 EL Platinum Rev 1.0, 4.0-5-4-15 @ 2.1V, IC's by Elpida

You might try some Micron-based RAM.

Watch for the Buffalo Firestix to come in stock or buy some Crucial Ballistix if you wanna be totally sure to get Micron.
