CPU my bottleneck?

Hello All this is my first post here.

Well I've gotten back into Counter-Strike (my bad habit for years now). And on the Half Life 2 video stress test I only get around 100 fps on all resolutions from 800x600 to 1280x1024. My conclusion is that my p4 2.8C is my bottleneck holding my video card back. I bumped up the FSB to 210 and that increased my fps by 6.

Should my processor really be holding me back? Any tips or ideas other than switch to an AMD Athlong 64?

Thanks in advance!

What's wrong with 100FPS? I'm guessing high quality all reflections, right? And yes, you should switch to an A64. NOW. IMEDIATLEY. :p ;)

Well thats the average fps I get on the stress test. My actual in game fps seems to be around 35-50.

That is very strange. Even on a P4 2.8C, you should easily get at least 70fps smooth.
Are you playing at max detail with AA and AF on? How big is your HD?

I have all options set to quality on the video card and in the CS settings I have it set to NO AA. Everything else is max. My HD is 160GB on Raid 0.

I'm using the 66.93s. I tried the beta drivers, but they don't work with dual monitors that well so I switched back.
