I'm new in this forum......
guys i'm going to buy new processor, mobo, ram and psu.
i made up a system after a long period time.and i'm going to buy tomorrow or day after tomorrow... so my system will be as follows
1.CPU-Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 Core i5 3570K Processor
2.MoBo-ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard
3.RAM-Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-ven...YAXY&ref=ffcc5b40-37bd-4913-bb72-790d83c03dcb)
4.PSU-http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-extreme-ii-725-watts-psu/p/itmdbzesqpvbztnq?pid=PSUDBZEKDVHFEJ6C&ref=c0a02eda-83b7-407f-883f-1eddb8f47b58
so what my questions are
1.is this psu good enough for oc-ing 3570k (i will oc 4.5 to 5ghz maximum not more than 5ghz) ?

2.I am still in confuse whether i choose 2500k or 3570k.after researching lot about those CPUs...many reviews say that 2500k is best for oc but lack of efficiency a little,on the other side 3570k is faster than 2500k but becomes hot upto 4.4ghz oc.....blah blah blah.....
i want to know which one better...give a suggestion.

3.will this ram work properly with asrock xtreme4?

4.(most important)
guys i want to know how the gpu will work....?
will gpu in cpu (ivy)+discrete graphic card (amd hd6670 1gb ddr5) work together?
or discrete gpu will replace integrated gpu of cpu?

so that's all my queries....if anyone has better suggestion for this system....feel free to post.

ohh 1 thing.....I'm only for GAMING

If you're only interested in gaming, then pairing an i5 with a HD6670 is a bad idea. That system will be majorly limited by that graphics card.

If I were you I'd go with a cheaper processor (i3-3220, or an FX-6300 if you're happy overclocking) and spend more money on your graphics card. Go for something like a HD7850 if you can.

EDIT: Also, your discrete GPU will replace your iGPU. But the Intel graphics are terrible for gaming anyway, so don't worry about that. :)

EDIT 2: Also- you're better off getting 2x4GB RAM, instead of 1x8GB. Ivy Bridge has dual channel memory, so using a pair of sticks lets the processor access data more quickly.

EDIT 3: And that PSU will DEFINITELY be enough for a rig like that, and frankly might be overkill. Most of those 750W-1KW power supplies are made for people running multiple graphics cards.

i know spending more money in gpu is better idea.....but the thing is i already bought 6670 but and system is very poor right now(amd athlon 64 x2 cpu,2gb ddr2 ram etc)
so i'm making a future proof system (atleast 15-20 years) and i will bought gtx 660 or any other beast gpu after 1-2 year...

i can't get you....waht do mean by 'That system will be majorly limited by that graphics card.' ? do you mean something about bottleneck???
what do you think about my psu...will it good enough for oc-ing 3570k (5 ghz max)?
will the ram will work properly or should i bought 2x4 gb ddr3 corsair vengence ?
i5 3570k or i5 2500k?
i thought that igpu and discrete gpu will work together so that it'll boost fps....is there any way to use both gpu?

Re. GPU and iGPU working together- there is that "Virtu" thing that claims to make that work. I'm not sure how much I trust it, but some people like it. Someone with a Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge will have to answer that for you. :)

Hadn't realised that you had the 6670 already- that makes more sense now, if you plan on upgrading the graphics later.

The 1x8GB RAM will certainly work properly, don't worry about that. :) It's just that using RAM in pairs will give better performance.

To be honest, making a "future proof" PC to last 15 years is incredibly ambitious, and I doubt it's possible. 15 years ago the fastest chip you could get was a Pentium II- try playing any game from the last 10 years on that! If you plan to play games, 5 years is the ballpark figure for how long you can make your rig last. Your Athlon 64 X2 is ~6 years old, and would have been the 2500K of its day, and you can tell from experience how slow that already feels. Not to put you down or anything, I just don't want you setting your sights too high and being disappointed. (Not to mention a heavy overclock can reduce the lifespan of your system, and 5GHz is definitely a heavy overclock. ;) )

There's not that much difference in the 2500k and 3570k- I'd go for the 2500k if it was noticeably cheaper than the 3570k, but the 3570k if they were priced similarly.

Ivy bridge gets hot. Depends on your cooling.

If you want 5Ghz what cooling solution do you plan to use ?

Grab a 2600k if your cooling solution is a basic HSF or came with Processor.

If its a modded HSF like Zalman or Corshair etc then go with the Ivy Bridge, just watch your temps. gl

If he goes with a 2600k he is going to need a aftermarket cooler also, so there is no reason to go with a 2600k over a 3570k is he wants to reach
4.2+Ghz Speeds
