CPU/Mobo compatibility

Probably a dumb question, but just wanted to make sure (better safe than sorry, I guess) - are these parts compatible?

Can I use this CPU -

Read the specs

The CPU is Socket AM2, but the motherboard is 939 - they physically won't fit.

Also the mobo says:
CPU Type Athlon 64 X2 / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64

So it supports the type, but not the socket it's designed for.

Do a power search under motherboards for Socket AM3. Also 939 is being phased out far as I know (at least I've seen little to no stock of Socket 939 mobos since I built mine in 06)
