CPU/Mobo compatibility

Can anyone confirm that the ECS K7VTA3 rev 2.0 can accept XP CPUs after a BIOS update?
The website says "accept newer processors" but I'm not sure that includes XP's.
Right now I'm running a low-end Duron and I'm looking to upgrade. I'd much rather upgrade the CPU only, if possible, rather than replace both.

The ECS website says it can: Link (up to a 2800+ tbred)

Can't confirm it myself though, no.

Edit: Bah, it says since PCB ver 5.0. Sorry guy.

hadn't seen that page. I looked around for the board's specs, and the bios updates section and it gave me no info. Thanks for the link.
