Hi there i was wondering if i could purchase dual channel memory to use with a socket 754 DFI board with a socket 754 athlon 64? would it run dual channel memory as good as single channel memory? or do i have to stick with regular ddr 400 with the skt 754? i was just thinking ahead that if i get dual channel memory now the next time i upgrade to socket 939 than i got mydual channel memory that would work for my future upgrade

i understand that i would not be able to utilize the dual channel part of the memory i just want to make sure that it will work i was looking at these memory configurations i want the best match possible
for my cpu/memory configuration for a decent price

That first PDP kit is good stuff. :)

Dual channel memory kits just means they are two sticks that have been "tested" in dual-channel configurations so they should work. Yes they will work just fine in single channel.
