My system specs are in my signature. I've recently done some video card driver updates lately and I have been running the Source Video Stress Test to see if I have gotten an increase in frame rates. I've gone from 66.93 -> VXG 71.20 -> 71.84 and I get the exact same 104 for each driver set. Here is what I'm running at

Everything on High. 4x AA, 1024x768, 8x Aniscoptric Filtering.

Sounds cpu limited to me. You've got such nice parts, ram, hd, vid, and such. You'd be a perfect candidate for an Nforce3 socket 939 Athlon64 motherboard and cpu to use your ram in dual channel mode and still use your existing video card and all. Then you'd see a nice gain in overall performance.

All you need is a decent motherboard and maybe a 3000-3500+ Athlon64 and you'd be smokin :)

Ditto.

On top of that, you shouldn't expect much, if any, increases in performance with different driver revs. Sometimes they will give you better FPS, but mostly, they fix compatibility issues and add support for new features and such

I'm surprised. I didn't think I would be CPU limited since I have such a nice OC on this mobile processor. I didn't get this that long ago and if i wanted to upgrade to an Athlon 64 I think I would be shot.. lol... What would be the price for an Athlon 64 & nice mobo? Thanks!
