CPU Install question.

I just got my OEM Athlon XP1800+ from newegg today I have it sitting in the MB, but It has and orange sticker/price tag on it. This is my first oem CPU should I remove it? or leave it on, its not on the core or anything.

I think you want to remove that, unless it specifically says removing will void the warranty.

My Athlon 1700 came completely naked. Having a paper sticker that close to a hot core would not be a good idea.
