The HW Monitor software that came with my m/board says the "CPU Hysterisis" temp. is 40 deg C., "Overheat" is 50 deg., but there's no explanation of what Hysterisis is or what happens if you get to that temp?? Does anyone know?

My CPU has been hovering around 38c the last few days, so i've been wondering...

20 years later and AmD has become king...if anyone wants to continue this discussion....it would sure be interesting 20 years later being revisited!!

Or you can post in one of the many existing
threads, and not bump a 20 year old thread
(especially when the poster hasn't been here
for 20 years).
