A bit concerned about compatibility due to this push-pin fiasco. I hate push-pin CPU coolers like my current stock Intel HS/Fan and I fear that they might make compatibility with traditional mounts problematic, so I thought that I should verify with AT before purchasing on if it would work and/or require adapters.
CPU: Intel Q9450
Overclock target: 3.0ghz
Sound: Not much louder than stock Intel HS/Fan on maximum speed
Mobo: Asus P5Q Pro
Current HS/Fan: Push-Pin Intel HS/Fan that came with the retail Q9450
Looking at the following:
Thermalright U120E-BP-775 Ultra 120 Extreme Heatpipe CPU Cooler and Scythe SFF21F 120mm S-Flex Fluid Dynamic Bearing Fan
But, I am open to alternate suggestions for HS/Fan
Price would be about $75 for both the HS and the fan combined.
