i am thinking of getting me a new cpu the old i got is just an amd thunderbird 1200mhz socket A
and my bus is 200 and fsb speed is 100

so i hoped you guys would help me with any idees witch new cpu i should get

You will be very limited in finding a 100FSB CPU since everything has migrated to 166/200. What MB do have? Is it Capable for running 133/166 or 200FSB? Is your ram capable of running 133/166/200? There are many options available, if you can provide more imformation, I am sure we can assist on an upgrade path. Give us a description of your current system, and how much $$ you have (for the upgrade .

Possibly a 1.6GHz Duron.. Not much you can get due to the mobo.

While the new Duron are cheap, they run at 133fsb. What MB do you have? Sorry for all the questions.
