Here is my setup:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
AMD XP 2800+ 333Mhz
1GB PC3500 Corsair XMS (running Dual Channel)
Hercules ATI 9700 Pro (stock speeds)

Current temps: Idle 107-110 'F Gaming 125-132'F

I used to have the system bios setup as FSB 200mhz x 11.5 multiplier= 2.3ghz
Now I am running FSB 205mhz x 10.5 multiplier= 2.16ghz

Which setup is best for performance ie. overall system?
Is it better to max out your FSB or CPU? (stability in mind of course)

Anyone have a problem with this motherboard and its POST Speech Reporting?
Currently for the past several months the Speech Reporting keeps stating "Cpu Has Failed" while I am gaming even with the speech reporting disabled in the Bios.

your old setup of 2.3 ghz should produce more performance
the extra fsb only helps as it improves memory performance, however 5mhz isnt going to do jack...
eg. fsb = 200mhz = 2ghz cpu speed
vs fsb 166mhz = 2ghz cpu speed should theoretically give you same performance but the memory will be running faster on the higher fsb system, thus improving overall system performance

finally however, the small performance difference in your particular system may not be noticable to the eye, so I wouldnt really care :)
