CPU Freezes up when playing games and movies

I have a Diamond Viper 770 video card with a KMD-2-6 400 Mhz processor. The cpu freezes whenever we try to play shell video games or play downloaded movies. Is there a patch available for this video card? I can't find their website.

No problem, hope it helped. Diamond stuff seems harder to get a hold of nowadays.

don't use diamond drivers - use nvidia 2.08 drivers (lots of people use nvidia drivers instead of manufacturer drivers - particularly those with diamond cards). get the drivers from riva3d. 2.08 is very good for super 7 (this is what i use), contains the 3dnow optimisations and is before the geforce (no clutter).
