CPU for Laptop: P2 233-266 or K6-2 300-400

CPU choice for a used or cheap Laptop:

Does the P2 233-266 CPU for Laptop have 512k half speed cache or smaller full cache?

I somehow think the Laptops with Intel P2 233/266 were better built as those CPUs used to be top of the line.

Would you take a P2-233/266 laptop over a K6-2 300-400 laptop if most other parts are about the same?

What bus speed do laptop CPUs run at? same as the desktops?

I feel like picking up a older P2 over a K6-2.

K6-II's kill P, PII's and PIII even in business stuff, which is what I am guessing your gonna use the laptop for cus your sure as heck not gonna game on it 😉

Take the K6-II

Take the one that eat the least juice, and have power down saving method.

At higher MHz the P2/3's will beat the K6-2's due to the increased diff in cache speed, but a 266 MHz P2 wont stand much of a chance vs a 400 MHz K6-2.
