I've got a celeron slot 1.I bought a fan and heatsink for it,but the heat sink doesn't look right.The heat sink fits on the side of the processor but the clip fits flat on the processor touching the card.M question is will this short anything out by touching it. Thanks Screwtip

Slot 1 Coolers shouldn't touch anything to cause a short. If the clip is touching something on the mobo, that's a different story. There are no electrical connections on the slot on the clip side. Should be fine.
