CPU Fan size for newby?

My computer keeps on shutting down. At this time I believe it is because the fan for the cpu won't turn on unless I blow in it. I have started the computer in safe mode and left it on for a while and it still shut down after a while.

My motherboard is:

BIOSTAR M7VIG400 Socket A (Socket 462) VIA KM266Pro with a sempron

What fan size/type do I need to replace that?

Thanks

Measure across the flat sides of the fan (X in the diagram below): 60mm ~ 2-3/8", 70mm ~ 2-3/4", 80mm ~ 3-1/8", 92mm ~ 3-5/8", 120mm ~ 4-5/8"

You could also look on http://www.ajigo.com to see which HSF matches the one you have to find the fan specs as ajigo makes many OEM HSFs for AMD. If it turns out to be 60x15mm, I'd probably find a 60x25 fan. You'll get more air for less noise if you pick the right one - maybe have to use a fan controller to tame ones like the Sanyo or Evercool that buyextras.com sells.
