cpu fan in or out?

should the cpu fan blow down on cpu, or blow/pull air away from it?

Unless you have an Alpha heatsink, you want the the fan to blow into the heatsink.

I would recommend that it be inside the case but outside the the processor. Seriously though, the above post is correct. Onto the heatsink.
