Hey, right now i have a coolermaster Aerocool 7+ and its a little too noisy for me and doesnt quite cool as well as I want it too. I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions as to what I can look at that performs better than the Aerocool 7+ and is quieter (ie less than 42db). Im looking for an aluminum/copper hybrid hsf from Zalman because it is below 500 grams, but im not sure how it performs.... Thanks!

I second shady. I have an old sk-7 with a generic svc fan on my 1700+ @2352 and it's OK but temps are 42-45 at load; for my next 1700+ system I bought a 900a and panaflo 92mm - after reading a lot it looked like the best choice.

Any suggestions for sub-500 gram Heatsinks that perform well under overclocked loads? Not including H20 or Phase Cooling of course. I noticed Thermalright has an aluminum version of their famed SLK 900 series..

is weight really an issue for you? i have seen slk800/900 in most all mobos (including 3 of my own) and there is no problem at all

Well, I was just worried about damaging the ZIF socket. Also, If I were to get the Thermalright, would you recommend the 92mm Vantec Stealth, or the 92mm Panaflo. If Panaflo, which one? Since I have a voltage regulator (Vantec Nexus) I doubt it would matter. I guess I would want the most airflo with the least noise.

Also, weight is a slight issue, but more apparent issue would be cost. I was looking for a sub 35$ HSF. Also, how is the swiftech hsf? (The one with all of those helical pins)
