For the first time in many years I built a system from the ground up. It was great fun and the system works well, but I need your advice on CPU fans.
The retailer didn't provide a fan with the 939-pin AMD 3200+, so I ordered a separate fan (SPEEZE WhisperRock II) which the retailer claimed would fit socket 939 CPUs. However, the motherboard fan mount doesn't even come close to fitting the WhisperRock.
So the question is, what budget (< 15$) fan is appropriate for the VNF4 motherboard? Or is there a mount replacement that properly mounts a socket 370 / A fan in this board?
