CPU FAN FAILED :(

I have ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE, 3500+, and Zalman7700CU cooler. The BIOS tell sme that my CPU fan has failed and it says it runs at 0RPM. I cannot get into windows cause of that. How to disbale the detection it does on my BIOS version 1.02.
***the fan spins, i checked***
Thanks

Is this on a new computer that you built?

Double check that your cpufan is plugged into the connecter labled CPU and not the connected labled SYSTEM, if you switch them around both fans will work fine but the bios readings will be messed up.

Good luck!

If you have the CPU fan plugged into the correct header and it still does not report it's RPM correctly, then get a new fan.

You really don't want to bypass this safety feature except for brief periods for testing purposes. The system is supposed to shut down if it does not detect a properly working CPU fan.

Should the fan stop spinning in the future, you will want the system to shut down properly like it should.
