Hi I just put together two FX 74's in an ASUS L1N64-SLI WS board. Everything went smoothly, then I turn it on and it gives me a "CPU FAN ERROR" I resume and it boots and loads windows easily. Both CPU fans are running, I can see them moving at all times. Yet it only shows me one of my CPU's tempertaures.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Aaron

Maybe you plugged the fan into an aux power out instead of the cpu fan power on the motherboard.

Hmm, maybe a bios update or those sensors are broken, I wouldn't worry about it if the fans are spinning.

Well it wouldn't bother me except it isn't recognizing the second chip. It's only seeing one, and only 2 gb of RAM. I have two chips, and 4gb of ram in the system. I have a Asus L1N64-SLI WS board.

I would do a bios update and or call Asus to see if the confirm that the board is bad and if it is maybe take it back to where you bought it or RMA to asus, whichever is quicker.
