Hey guys I wanted to know what type of clearance you guys are getting with a megahalems rev b, Mugen 2 rev b, or tower 120 ext on a p8p67 pro with ram slots.

I'm sure it covers A1 for the wide heatsink/fans, what about A2??
Can anyone clarify if there's a fixed way to install the ram into the slots?(default: A2 B2, A1 B1).

As long as you don't get RAM with the tall heatsinks/fins, you should be fine. My Noctua cooler fan covers the slot closest to the CPU, but once the DIMM is in place, there's no interference.

Your motherboard documentation should tell you what the preferred slots are. Usually A1 B1, A2 B2. (at least for ASUS boards)

I'm using G skill rip jaws, and they have really tall fins.
For the Asus P8P67 Pro, the manual says to install on A2, B2, then A1, B1, can anyone clarify for me?

I made a thread about this too, Corsair Vengeance(50mm high) and Mugen specifically. I've bought them anyway since then.
Mugen 2 covers the first 2 slots if you put the fan on that side, so right now I'm using it in a pull only config on my 2600k (stock atm). Temps are in the mid-high 40s C in BFBC2.
Going to get a 92mm fan for a push-pull today though.

Yep. If you're using two sticks of RAM, put them in slots A2 and B2. That will be the second slot from the CPU and the farthest slot. If you use 4 sticks of RAM, put them in the other slots...

If you only use two DIMMS, you should be fine for clearance. It's usually only the memory slot closest to the CPU that has issues with the taller RAM.

I put the G.Skill ram in the slot BEFORE attaching the fan to my 212+...

...about 1/8 (maybe less?) of an inch clearance between bottom of fan and top of RAM, but definitely not touching each other.
