Concerning AMD... what is the difference between a barton and thorobred? What is the difference between OEM and retail? Sorry for newbie questions.
 
The only difference between the two is that the Barton has 512kb of level 2 cache, and the Thoroughbred has 256kb. They have been tested, and it has been shown that a T-bred that runs at 100mhz faster than a Barton equals the Barton in speed.
