I have 2 nForce 3 250 socket 754 mobos and cpus running rosetta@home.

They are both .90nm 1.4 vcore, I also tried a .13nm 1.5 vcore cpu.

When I run rosetta@home the voltage on the 1.4 cpu's goes up to 1.44.

The 1.5 cpu goes up to 1.56

I havent tried other apps yet to see if it is any load on the cpu that does this.

That's a pretty common phenomenon. But it really depends on a variety of ascpects, like:

- how good the sensors are that read the voltage,
- what software you read them with - as obviously you can'tread the with the BIOS while you run Rosetta - and most of all,
- how good is the PSU with keeping the voltage rails at a stable value, even with full load.

I'm sure if you try somwthing like encoding a long MP3 or zipping a big file, you'll see the same jump in voltage.
