CPU COOLING ISSUE

stock CPU FANS run the CPU's hotter than I would like at idle (cpu1) 127 and (cpu2) 123 degrees respectively. They have not failed yet though. Suggestions on fans that would be the same size but with better performance. NO WATER COOLING PLEASE. UPDATE: I moved the case around for better air flow and took off the cover. I managed to get it down 10 degrees for both CPUs
Thanks

What are the idle and load temps in Celcius?
<---- too lazy to convert them :)

Run Prime on both cores and use something like Speedfan to find the temps. Idle temps really don't matter. The load temp is more important.

yeah! got a couple of thermaltake volcano 8s today. brought both cpu core idle temps down 20 degrees celcius!! original temps ran at about 58 degrees celcius at idle. these thermaltakes bring them down to 38 degrees celcius at idle. no need to run Prime95 to convince me of my investment! thanks though, for your suggestions.

I seem to have the same temp/noise issue.

Can you please tell me how loud those volcano's are?
I would ideally like something more quiet especially due to having 2 heatsinks/fans.

Please advise, thanks!

They are pretty loud, I have to admit. But I don't have an SPL meter handy. Not any louder than an oscillating fan to cool a room. :) I have 2.

My MP2000's have Volcano 10's on them, quieter than AMD stock fans and much cooler. Bout $25 each these days I think too.
